I showed up with a full sense of purpose.

The minute I picked up the mic, something shifted. I wasn’t nervous, I was lit.

The art, the laughter, the looks from the crowd when they realised I was going to make this fun, not formal… I felt it in my bones.

I wasn’t just teaching..

I cracked a joke. They laughed. I roasted someone’s paintbrush technique (with love).

The room lit up. And just like that, I was in my element. Not just painting. Entertaining.

I wasn’t background noise.

I was the vibe. The ringleader.

The one who set the tone and carried the mood.

It Was the Most Alive I’d Felt in Years

No pressure to be perfect.

No approval to wait for. Just me, the mic, a room full of 100 people riding the energy I was setting.

The vibe was real, undeniable. And right then, I knew: this was mine.. It wasn’t forced.

It wasn’t planned. But it hit. And in that moment, I wasn’t performing,

I was home. This is who I am.

I was the one they were watching.

And not because I needed attention but because I commanded it.

With wit. With warmth and passion.

The moment I realised I was the entertainment, I stopped playing small.

I started creating a space where other people could feel just as seen, just as lit up, just as alive, just as energised.
