Romanticising Business Even When Itās Hard
The hustle was always there. The spark came in phases.
Since Year 3, Iāve Been Selling Art & Joy
Sketches for coins. Printed colouring pages.
A quiet little printing scheme. Bribes paid in tuck shop snacks.
I didnāt know it was business. I just knew I liked making things and moving energy.
That was the root.
Then Came the Spark
Decades later paint, wine, and a night that cracked something open.
We laughed until we cried. My humour met his, vibe match, electric.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt safe to be fully myself.
āThat kind of joy? That kind of spark?ā š„š“
Itās been there from the start 50c Drawings and a Tuck Shop Empire holds the whole heart of it.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Not Quieter Not Smaller Just Me Banter Boldness and a Brush in Hand
It wasnāt about romance. It was about freedom.
A moment that lit something Iād buried.
The Flame Came a Year Later In Front of 100 People
Mic in hand. Paint on my jeans. 100 people staring back at me.
And I didnāt freeze. I lit up.
That reminded me: Iām not just a teacher, or an artist, or a host.
I am the energy. When Iām fully in myself, I am the room.
And Then Byron Bay
Four friends. No backup plan.
Thatās where Sip & Sass stopped being a āwhat ifā and became a decision.
Not overnight. Not in one dramatic moment.
But in stages, steady belief, and a vision I couldnāt unsee.
And Now Iām Still Building It
Itās not always easy.
Some days I want to shut it all down and disappear for a bit.
But I keep showing up. not because I have something to prove,
but because I know what Iāve built⦠and I know what it could become.
This didnāt come from hype or luck.
It Came from Years of Following the Fire
Even when no one else saw it.
The Year 3 version of me would be proud.
This isnāt just a brand.
Itās something Iāve poured parts of myself into and Iām still pouring.
And the woman Iām becoming?
Sheās not finished yet.
More Than Paint On a Canvas
This is Sip & Sass was the moment I knew I wanted to own a paint and sip business.
Not just host one own it. And when the early rush settled?
Romancing the Business is what kept me building.
Brisbane & Gold Coast, youāre up first. Melbourne & Sydney start chilling the champagne.
The paint and sip party is coming, are you in?
