Santa’s Cookies Paint & Sip Popup at Kirra Beach House
Merry Christmas
Santa’s Cookies at Kirra Beach House
From the moment guests stepped into Kirra Beach House, I knew Santa’s Cookies was going to be something special.
The golden light spilling through the windows, the ocean humming nearby, the subtle festive touches everywhere it all came together effortlessly.
With boutique, limited seating, the room immediately felt intimate yet buzzing with energy. Everyone arrived ready to sip, paint, and fully embrace the night.
This is exactly what makes a paint and sip experience so magical.
It’s not just about painting on a canvas, it’s about creating a space where people can relax,
connect, and let their creativity flow freely. Watching the room fill with anticipation,
I felt that unmistakable moment of calm before the laughter.
Bon Bons and Breaking the Ice
We started the evening with bon bons, and they worked like magic.
Crowns went on, laughter erupted, and suddenly everyone was talking,
joking, and ready to dive into the paint and sip experience.
In a boutique setting like this, every little detail matters, and these small touches set the energy perfectly.
Guests were relaxed, playful, and fully present,
It was clear that this paint and sip session was going to be effortless, joyful, and completely unforgettable.
Food, Cocktails, and Gingerbread Shenanigans
The food and drinks were exactly as they should be abundant, delicious, and perfectly paired with the creativity flowing at the tables.
Cocktails moved freely without ever feeling rushed, and the energy was lively but easy.
Then there was the gingerbread. Let’s just say he wasn’t having his finest day a little crispier than intended and slightly darker
but in a room full of playful people, that only made him more memorable.
The “burnt but brave” gingerbread became a running joke, a shared laugh, and a perfect example of how a paint and sip night is all about enjoyment,
connection, and embracing imperfection. Guests sipped, nibbled, laughed,
and painted with full focus, and the room hummed with that effortless rhythm that only comes from a night done right.
Watching Guests Shine
This is the part I love most about paint and sip nights: watching guests completely inhabit their creative space.
Guidance felt conversational and encouraging, not instructive, which meant everyone painted with confidence and curiosity.
Guests who had never painted before were suddenly exploring textures, colours, and combinations I wouldn’t have expected.
Every brushstroke became a little victory, every shared laugh a connection point. In a boutique setting,
it’s easy to notice these moments and celebrate them,
and I did making the experience feel personal and completely engaging.
Paintings became conversation starters, encouragement was abundant, and the night carried a confident, joyful energy from start to finish.
The Curated Space That Set the Tone
Kirra Beach House gave us everything we needed: a space that felt curated, effortless, and elegant.
The room set the tone for the night without ever getting in the way.
Guests commented repeatedly on how welcoming and beautiful the space felt how it allowed them to focus on painting,
sipping, and enjoying each other’s company.
Even the staff noticed the energy, remarking how refreshing it was to see such a connected, joyful group. A well-curated
