From Burnt Out to Brilliant

It started with pizza and ended with…

This Wasn’t Your Average Office Pizza Party

It’s 4:55 PM. Three boxes of pizza arrive, looking like they’ve been sitting in traffic for an hour.

Steve from IT is already hovering with the confidence of a man who’s never brought lunch.

Joe from HR raises a Coke Zero and gives a lukewarm toast to “team morale.”

Everyone claps. Internally, they scream.

The fluorescent lights hum louder than the team’s will to live.

Josh? Eats five slices of pizza like a vulture before the boxes even hit the table.

Team Bonding or Lightly Supervised Captivity?

You’re not bonding. You’re surviving.

The playlist sucks. The air smells like regret and pepperoni.

You pretend you’re full so you can leave early.

Same Team Whole New Vibe

Same space. Same people. But this time…

Canvases laid out. Wine opened.

A playlist that didn’t come from Debbie’s treadmill session, aka Pitbull’s Greatest Hits on repeat.

And suddenly? No one’s watching the clock.

Then Something Wild Happened People Had Fun

Everyone’s laughing and chatting.

Debbie from Accounting discovers she’s got actual talent.

Dave from IT is painting like there’s a promotion riding on it. (There’s not.)

Paul from Logistics paints a tree and laughs, “This is my childhood.”

It’s borderline dangerous how well this is going.

The Night? Iconic

Everyone leaves reenergized, creative, and a bit smug.

Most of the paintings looked like they were done mid-earthquake. Didn’t matter.

They took them home like trophies.

Because it wasn’t about the art, it was about having one good night.

There was a vibe, conversation, and for once? No one wanted to leave early.
